Hmm, what’s this? A post by Delicious? How does that work?

I have 4 blogs and I’m planning to move 2 of them to a server, possibly using Word Press. I’m interested in how to use special tools such as this.

BTW, the 2 blogs I’m referring to are one for my county and one on race matters in my county and I occasionally will post a church announcement on them (we have live monthly race & ethnicity discussions at my church). The problem is that LiveJournal doesn’t ping directories, so they don’t get listed unless I add them to a feed. I listed them in Technorati, but they still didn’t pick up the feed. I may change my mind about moving them if I can get them to work better there. I’m not sure if what you’re doing here with Delicious will work on LiveJournal. But I’m really not sure what you’re doing. Please explain.

Joyce — A couple of thoughts:

    (1) For switching from LiveJournal, I’d strongly encourage you to read Clear Blogging. It’s an excellent book, and I expect there are others like it. It covers all sorts of great tools.

    (2) For del.icio.us posts, in your del.icio.us account, go to “settings”, then “daily blog posting” and then just follow the directions. Last I looked at the directions, they were a bit dense, so if they don’t make sense, trying Googling “delicious daily blog posting.”

May the blogging winds blow favorably on you.
