Welcome to my site, where I muse about that new and astounding form of creation and communication known as the Web. My beat is the intersection of the Web and faith, in particular how to build great church and religious websites.
If you are new to this site, looking for a starting place, I suggest the Welcome page.
By day, I am the Web Coordinator for the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, but these are just my own reflections. At night, I morph into…. Well read these pages and see if you can tell. In no particular order, I’m a believer in web standards, accessibility, handsome design, elegant code, and deep dark chocolate.
My Faith
My religious beliefs I think of as my own business, but given the focus of this website, it seems best to acknowledge them in passing. For a long time I belonged to the Rochester Zen Center, and much of my faith developed there. I commend it to Westerners seriously interested in Zen Buddhism. Due to life circumstances (babies, etc.), I now belong to the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville (a.k.a. FUUN). For liberal religious Middle Tennesseans, I know of no better home, and (in a word) love my congregation.
I’ve been one the FUUN web divas since around the dawn of web time (1995, if memory serves). And by great good fortune, I’m a frequent web volunteer for the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). The UUA is blessed with an amazing web staff. They are my soul mates, and I wish I could see them more. But of course we have cyberspace.
I wish all of you reading this well on your journeys, and hope you too are not just surfing, but digging into the Web, whether you are a blogger, a web professional, or a thoughtful commenter.

I’ve bookmarked and added your blog to my RSS feeder as well as subscribed by email. I don’t want to miss another post.
Keep up the great work!
